A range of studies were available for the members of this Category based on the WAF. A study provided for stream 64742-90-1 by Brixham Environmental Laboratory Astrazeneca UK Ltd (2004) reported an EL50 of 13 mg/L. A study provided for stream 85117-10-8 by BASF (2007) reported an EL50 of 2.4 mg/L. ExxonMobill (2003) reported EL50s of 1.2 and 3.3 mg/L for the streams 68513-69-9 and 69013-21-4 and Elf Atochem (2000) stated an EL50 of >4.58 - <9.83 mg/L for 64742-90-1. ECT Oekotoxikologie GmbH (2012) reported an EL50 of 3.49 mg/L for stream 98072-36-7. The data provided in these studies are considered reliable for use and will be read across to the other members of the Fuel Oils Category.
