Description of key information
No effects were seen in an OECD 421  (see section 7.8.1.1 )screening study. No further studies are planned.There are no reports of any reproductive toxic effect from mineral fibres, exposure is via inhalation and effects  seen are in the lung, clearance of fibres is via the gut and the faeces, so exposure of the reproductive organs is extremely unlikely.

Based on the toxicokinetic assessment the substance is of low toxicological activity and there is no evidence of systemic absorption occurring via relevant routes of exposure
