Ferrosilicon (FeSi) and all of its registered grades are inorganic substances, and no known constituent (> 0.1%) is organic or an organometal. The PBT/vPvB assessment and ANNEX XIII Criteria for the identification of persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic substances, and very persistent and very bioaccumulative substances is not relevant for inorganic substances. Therefore any detailed evaluation has not been carried out under this section of this CSA.
Ferrosilicon is inorganic and it is therefore not classifiable as a PBT/vPvB substance.
