Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Half-life for hydrolysis:
1 yr
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

In a GLP-compliant study according to OECD guideline 111, hydrolysis of the test substance was tested at varying temperatures and as a function of pH (RCC, 2005). In the preliminary test at 50°C, degradations of the test solutions at pH 4, 7 and 9 were in average 9.5%, 0% and 34% respectively. Therefore no further testing was required for pH 4 and pH 7. From the main study the following half-life times were obtained: 199 hours at 50°C, 18 hours at 70°C and 6 hours at 80°C. From these results, the half-life at 25°C was calculated to be 6348 hours (264 days). The test substance is considered to be hydrollitically stable.
