Additional information

There are no studies available adressing the aquatic toxicity of the Reaction mass of L-Menthan-3 -one and (+)-Isomenthone itself. However, the submitted studies regarding aquatic toxicity have been tested with isomenthone, i.e. a main component of the registered reaction mass with a concentration up to 35% or menthone/isomenthone racemic, representing the two main components of the registered reaction mass (up to 90%), respectively. Isomenthone is a stereoisomer of the other main component L-menthone and due to its high structural similarity, its acute toxicity potential can be considered comparable.

Other components of the reaction mass do not have an impact on the classification of this reaction mass due to its concentrations and/or hazard profile.
