Description of key information

The test material has been determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 376 ± 5°C. The test material has been determined not to have a relative self-ignition temperature below its melting temperature.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
376 °C

Additional information

The auto-ignition temperature was determined by heating aliquots of the test material in a flask and observing for any ignition. Testing was conducted using Method A15 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC (which constitutes Annex V of Council Directive 67/548/EEC).

The test material has been detennined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 376 ± 5°C.

Testing was also conducted using Method A16 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC (which constitutes Annex V of Council Directive 67/548/EEC). The test material was heated in an oven and the relative self ignition temperature determined.

The test material has been determined not to have a relative self-ignition temperature below its melting temperature.
