Description of key information

In accordance with Section 2 of REACH Annex XI, information requirement section 7.9, this study does not need to be conducted based on the physical state of the substance. According to the ECHA guidance, flash point is only relevant to substances that are liquid at room temperature. The substance has a melting point of 34°C and typically is described as being "liquid to solid". For the purpose of flammability testing, the substance was found to be sufficiently solidified at ambient temperature to allow for testing in a powder train. Hence, a determination of the flash point is not deemed to be necessary.

Nevertheless, flashpoint information is available in the SDS. The actual measurement and report are no longer available, however, the information was added for completeness as supporting study. According to the SDS, the substance has a flashpoint of 180°C.
