Description of key information

Lithium salts of monocarboxylic acids C14 -C22 category members decomposed with or after melting and therefore the boiling point study was not feasible.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Lithium salts of monocarboxylic acids C14 -C22 category members were determined to decompose with or after melting, so testing to determine the boiling point by EC Method A.2 or OECD guideline 103 was concluded to be neither valid nor feasible (Harlan 2012, 2013).
