Description of key information

According to Annex VII, column 2 of the REACH Regulation, the surface tension of a substance has to be determined if the molecular structure contains chemical groups, e.g. sulphonates groups associated with surface active properties. Since the substance does neither contain such chemical groups nor that surface activity is a intended property, it does not possess surface active properties and therefore a surface tension test is not required.
