Results and discussion

Water solubility
Water solubility:
46.8 µg/L
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
7 - 7.4
Details on results:
The concentration analysed after 24, 48 and 72 hours of stirring was 0.0609 mg/L, 0.0324 mg/L and 0.0472 mg/L, resp. The maximum difference (MD) was >15% (61%). As the water solubility is extremely low (<0.1 mg/L), it was considered acceptable to provide the water solubility as the mean of these 3 concentrations. There was no need for further investigations.

A negligible response was detected in the pretreated sample from the blank water mixture.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Interpretation of results (migrated information): insoluble (< 0.1 mg/L)
In a GLP-compliant study in accordance with EC A.6, OECD 105 and OPPTS 830.7840 using the (slow-stirring) flask method, the water solubility of the substance at 20°C has been determined as < 0.1 mg/L.
