Executive summary:

The substance was tested for flammability according to VDI 2263 sheet 1. When using a flame as ignition source no burning was observed but only melting. When using a hot platinum wire as ignition source only local burning of the molten substance was observed but no spreading of fire. Therefore, the burning behaviour of the substance can be characterized with Combustion Number 3 "localized combustion with practically no spreading"
