Melting occurred under decomposition, starting at about 103 °C, ca. 101.325 kPa, OECD 102, DSC, air

Only one study is available which measures the melting point of the substance. This study is considered to be adequate and reliable.

According to thermal analysis (DSC), no clear melting point of Propanoic acid, 2-(4-hydroxyphenoxy)-, potassium salt (1:1), (2R)- (CAS Number: 1184648-08-5) could be observed. A capillary test showed that melting of the test item occurred under decomposition, starting at about 103 °C.

The estimated accuracy is ± 0.5 K.

This result was obtained using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (Thermal Analysis) method.
