Description of key information

Three valid acute aquatic toxicity studies are available for the Substance: two 48-hour study in Daphnia magna & a 72-hour study in Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata. Due to the low water solubility of the registration material, nominal concentrations or WAF loading rates were used to set the dose groups in each study.

The acute aquatic toxicity study conclusions are summarised as follows:

Daphnia magna acute study (2016), EL50 (48h) > 100 mg/L; NOEL = 0.41 mg/L.

Daphnia magna acute study (2002), EL50 (48h) > 100 mg/L

Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata, ErL50 (72h) = 56 mg/L (Growth rate); NOEL (72h) = 0.25 mg/L.
