Justification:

Oxygen uptake, during an OECD TG 301D test, expressed as a percentage of chemical oxygen demand (COD) exceeded 60% within 28 days.

An acute oral toxicity study in the rat performed (OECD 423) reports very low toxicity. No mortality, clinical signs, effects on bodyweight or gross necropsy findings were observed at a limit dose of 5000 mg/kg bw.
