Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance is supposed to be readily biodegradable (according to OECD criteria) using a read-across approach.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A study on the ready biodegradability of the test substance is not available. Data on the ready biodegradability from two analogous substances, i.e. ethylamine (CAS 75-04-7) and n-butylamine (CAS 109-73-9) demonstrate that both substances are readily biodegradable. Using a read across approach based on these two substance n-propylamine can be considered as readily biodegradable as well.
