Any other information on results incl. tables
essai 1 : an evaporation of the hydration water was recorded from about 47°C to about 110 -120°C. No boiling point of the test item was recorded.
essai 2 : the evaporation of the hydratation water was confirmed from about 47°C to about 120°C. No boiling point of the test item was recorded.
A complementary assay was carried out with a Köfler bench to confirm the decomposition of the test item. A small quantity of the test item was put on the hot surface at different temperatures. At about 150 °C, the colour of the powder became darker. At about 200 °C, the test item aspect changed, the powder inflated and then a decomposition was observed.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- An evaporation of the hydration water was recorded from about 50°C to about 100°C. No boiling point of the test item was recorded.
- Executive summary:
The boiling point of the test substance was tested under GLP according to EU A2 and OECD 103, by differential scanning calorimetry. Three runs were performed under nitrogen atmosphere, and one complementary assa ywas carried out with a Köfler bench to confirm the decomposition of the test item and no boiling point was recorded.
The test item inflated and darkened sign of decomposition.
