Description of key information
100 cSt at 40 °C
Key value for chemical safety assessment
Additional information
The viscosity of the substance fatty acids, C16 -18 (even numbered) and C18-unsatd., branched and linear, di- and triesters with trimethylolpropane (former CAS 85005 -23 -8) was determined according to ASTM D 445 using the capillary method.
Further determination according to DIN 51562 T1 (capillary method; 82.9 mm²/s at 40 °C) and with no further specification of method (83 mm²/s at 40 °C) are supporting.
Another determination of viscosity at 100 °C was done: 13.8 mm²/s.
