In accordance with REACH Regulation 1907/2006, Annex IX, Column 2, studies of the effects on terrestrial organisms need not be conducted if direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. It is proposed that testing is waived as, the substance has a Kow of 4.33, a low to medium soil mobility potential (Koc = 753.6 L/kg), and it can be regarded as readily biodegradable indicating that it will not remain in the environment.
