Description of key information

The logKow of ε-Caprolactone, oligomeric reaction products with propylidynetrimethanol is reported to be 2.4 (see Section 4.7, partition coefficient).  The logKow is below the trigger of 3 therefore the substance Capa 3050 is not expected to bioaccumulate in living organisms. According to Column 2 of Annex IX of the REACH regulation,  no bioaccumulation study is required if the logKow is below the trigger of 3.
