Justification for classification or non-classification

The experimental data show that Ytterbium trinitrate is not sensitive to friction, shock or heat according to EU method A.14. This test method aims to determine if a test item has explosives properties or not and is the method used under the DSD system. The present test item, which does not possess explosives properties according to the EU test method, was considered as not classified under CLP regulation.
