The following statement has been reported by an expert:
A test substance is considered highly flammable when it ignites spontaneously in contact with water, or evolves a flammable gas at a minimum rate of ≥ 1 litre/kg of the substance per hour.
The molecular structures of the main constituents in the test substance do not contain groups that might lead to ignition in contact with water and/or to the evolution of a flammable gas. Moreover the test substance was dissolved in water during the determination of the water solubility. It demonstrated that the test substance does not ignite spontaneously in contact with water.

-Because the flash point is > 60°C, no classification is required for the CLP hazard 'Flammable liquid'.
-No classification is required for the CLP hazard 'Pyrophoric liquids' or 'Substances which in contact with water emits flammable gases'.
-Because of its high auto-ignition temperature and because the substance is a liquid, no classification is required for the CLP hazard 'self-heating' .
