Referenceopen allclose all
At room temperature, the test item was not flowable very hard sticky paste like a resin but not solid. At 5.1°, the test item was hard and difficult to pierce. At -22.9°C and -80°C, the test item was solid like ice.
Results obtained by DSC do not allow to determine the melting point of the substance without ambiguity. Finally, the melting point of the substance was considered as < 5.1°C based on pre-test results.
Description of key information
The test substance is a brown to brown red paste also described as a not flowable very hard sticky paste like a resin but not solid at ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Physical state at 20°C and 1013 hPa:
- liquid
Additional information
The data come from the description of the test substance in the certificate of analysis of the supplier of the substance to be tested for physico-chemical properties and on the observations and melting point value obtained in the GLP Melting point study.
