Discussion
Substances with a surface tension < 60 mN/m under the conditions of the EC Method A.5 should be regarded as being surface active.
Conclusion
The surface tension of an aqueous solution of test item at a concentration of 90% of the saturation solubility and at 20 °C was found to be equal to 46.9 mN/m. Therefore, the test item is considered as surface-active.
