Description of key information

The photodegradation of Mersolat H95 was estimated at t½ = 19.8 hours at

25°C by a rate constant = 19*10-12 cm3 /(molecule * sec)
(Currenta, 2010).
This substance with 15 carbon atoms was chosen as a typical example for the various chain lengths of the Mersolat type products.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life in air:
19.8 h
Degradation rate constant with OH radicals:
0 cm³ molecule-1 s-1
