Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance has a low octanol water partition coefficient and the adsorption potential of this substance is related to this parameter
Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
According to REACH Regulation (Annex VIII, 9.2.2.1, column 2), the study on adsorption/desorption does not need to be conducted if, based on physico-chemical properties (e.g. low n-octanol/water partition coefficient log Pow), a low potential for adsorption to soil is to be expected. The test item has a log Pow of 2.3 as demonstrated in a valid experimental study performed according to OECD Guideline 107 (Shake Flask Method) under application of GLP criteria. Any further experimental testing is therefore not necessary for this endpoint.
