According to the ECHA Guidance document R7b, no further test on the toxicity to microorganisms has to be conducted if the toxicity control in a ready biodegradability test shows no inhibitory effects on microorganisms or when the substance is readily biodegradable. No toxicity control was included in the biodegradability test according to OECD 301 D and in compliance with GLP (study no. RE910127). However, the substance was observed to be readily biodegradable and further no inhibition of the microbial activity at a substance concentration of 2 mg/L and 5 mg/L was observed. A test to evaluate the respiration inhibition of activated sludge is not necessary and was, therefore, waived
