EC10 or NOEC for microorganisms:
100 mg/L

Additional information

The influence of the substance on the respiration rate of activated sludge was investigated in a 3-h study in accordance with OECD guideline 209 and GLP (Magor 2000). In addition, two controls and five different concentrations of the reference item 3,5-dichlorophenol were tested in parallel. The results of these treatments confirmed the suitability of the activated sludge and the method used. No inhibition of respiration rates were observed at all concentrations tested: 1, 3.2, 10, 32, 100 mg/L, Therefore, the EC50 and NOEC were determined to be >100 and 100 mg/L, respectively.
