Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Due to international regulatory requirements for agricultural spray adjuvants, more than one acute toxicity study report is available for each route of administration (oral, inhalation, dermal). All reported no significant toxicity (and certainly no mortalities) at the maximum tested exposure level.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Acute toxicity: via oral route

Endpoint conclusion
Dose descriptor:
LD50
Value:
16 000 mg/kg bw

Acute toxicity: via inhalation route

Endpoint conclusion
Dose descriptor:
LC50
Value:
4 430 mg/m³ air

Acute toxicity: via dermal route

Endpoint conclusion
Dose descriptor:
LD50
Value:
4 000 mg/kg bw

Additional information

LD50/LC50 values cited represent maximum test exposures, at which no evident toxicity was seen and so are actually acute NOAELs.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Acute toxicity studies using all three routes of administration found no evident toxicity at very high dosages/test concentrations (in excess of the limit values for classification and labelling).
