Specific details on test material used for the study:
SOURCE OF TEST MATERIAL
- Source and lot/batch No.of test material: Mr. Klemmt; E-EMD/QR - J550, Batch identification: A14-Q0201

TREATMENT OF TEST MATERIAL PRIOR TO TESTING
- Treatment of test material prior to testing: About 0.25 g of the test item were weighed into a 250 mL volumetric flask, filled up to the mark using purified water. The mixture was agitated and stirred on a magnetic stirrer. The test item was dissolved completely (beta = 1 g/L). This solution was equilibrated at 20 °C and then measured.

STABILITY AND STORAGE CONDITIONS OF TEST MATERIAL
- Storage condition of test material: ambient temperature
Key result
Surface tension:
71 mN/m
Temp.:
20 °C
Conc.:
1 g/L

The test item was not surface active.

Description of key information

In a GLP-study according to OECD guideline 115, the surface tension of the test substance was determined to be 71 mN/m at 20 °C, at a concentration of 1000 mg/L. The test substance was found to be not surface active.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:
71
in mN/m at 20°C and concentration in mg/L:
1 000
