The sample of DTPA-MnNa3 is poured into the measuring cylinder with known volume (with accuracy 1 cm3), using the funnel.
The funnel should be closed during dosing the sample; then the bolt closing the funnel is removed. The sample should fill the cylinder during 6 to 12 s.
After filling in the cylinder over the above edge, the excess of the sample is removed by spatula, avoiding shaking of the cylinder.
The cylinder is weighting on the scale with the precision of measurement 1 g.

Two measurements are conducted for two portions of the sample from one batch part.

Calculation: Bulk density (loose) of the sample, ρ, measured in kg/m3 is calculated from the formula:

ρ = m/V,

m – the weight of the sample into cylinder, expressed in kg,
V – volume of the cylinder to the above edge, expressed in m3
