Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

TS-ED 532 was shown not to have inhibitory effects on the reproduction of the freshwater crustacean Daphnia magna up to 70 µg/L. and therefore, the NOEC (21 days) is estimated to be≥70 µg/L and the EC10 as well as EC50 are estimated to be >70 µg/L..

Additional information

TS-ED 532 was tested for inhibitory effects on the reproduction of the freshwater crustacean Daphnia magna according to the OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals No. 211, DS/ISO Standard 10706 and EEC Annex V tests C20. Due to the very low water solubility of TS-ED 532, the study was conducted with radiolabelled TS-ED 532 using concentrations of 10; 16; 27; 43 and 70 µg/L. According to preliminary studies, 70 µg/L (60-90 µg/L) was the highest concentration of TS-ED 532 to be dissolved in the test medium. Acetone was used as a solvent. The production of offspring was uniform in both controls compared with the individual test concentrations, and therefore, the NOEC (21 days) is estimated to be70 µg/L and the EC10 as well as EC50 are estimated to be >70 µg/L.
