Conclusion on classification

The effect levels in the available acute aquatic toxicity studies with species belonging to three trophic levels do not trigger a classification for acute aquatic toxicity. In the absence of suitable chronic aquatic toxicity studies, classification can be derived from the available acute aquatic toxicity data, in combination with information on the ready biodegradability and the bioaccumulation potential of the substance. The substance is not readily biodegradable and it has no potential for bioaccumulation. As none of the observed EC50 values was less than 100 mg/L, a classification for chronic aquatic toxicity is not required.
