Additional information

Sodium N-methyl-N-(1-oxotetradecyl)aminoacetate (CAS 30364-51-3) is considered to be readily biodegradable. The substance is thus considered to be rapidly and ultimately biodegraded by both aquatic and terrestrial micro-organisms. Therefore, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex IX 9.2.1.2 – 9.2.1.4, further simulation testing on biodegradation of the substance in water, sediment or soil  is not necessary.
