In the HPLC chromatograms of MORTRACE SB CONC, using detection at 210 nm, one large and six smaller peaks were observed. It was assumed that the large peak derived from the major component of test substance whereas the smaller peaks derived from impurities. The corresponding Pow values were calculated 25x105 (log Pow = 6.4) for the major component and 0.63x105 (log Pow = 4.8), 1x105 (log Pow = 5.0), 6.3x105 (log Pow = 5.8), 10x105 (log Pow = 6.0), > 10x105 (log Pow > 6.2) and 20x105 (log Pow = 6.3) for the impurities.
