Additional information

Acute toxicity to aquatic algae was assessed in a 72 -hour study under static exposure conditons, following OECD guideline 201.

In a preliminary test at concentrations between 1 and 100 mg/l, low toxicity, in terms of inhibition of growth rate and yield, was seen. Based on such results, main test was run as limit test at concentration of 100 mg/l. Controls were run and were valid. Analytical monitoring demonstrated that test substance solution were stable under the testing period, thus effect levels were referred as nominal concentrations. Effect levels at 72 after start of the study were determined.
