PBT assessment: overall result

Type of composition:
legal entity composition of the substance
State / form:
solid: bulk
Reference substance:
PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB

For persistence, the substance is not readily biodegradable. Since there are no more informations on degradation, no conclusion on P/vP propertities can be reached. Regarding its potential to bioaccumulate, although the log Kowhas been shown to be > 4.9, using the US EPAs prediction software BCFBAF v3.01, the logBCF for the anion can be predicted to be 2.565 (BCF = 367 L/kg wet-wt) well below the limit of 2000. Also, the subsatnces molecular weight is ~905 and therefore not likely to bioaccumulate

There is sufficient toxicological and Ecotoxicological data to conclude that the substance should not be considered toxic by these assessment criteria.

Therefore, the substance is not PBT/vPvB.
