Results and discussion

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Key result
Relative self-ignition temperature:
205 °C
Remarks on result:
other:
Remarks:
The course of the sample temperature shows the beginning of a strong exothermic reaction at 205 °C. At an ambient temperature of about 220 °C the sample temperature exceeds the temperature limit of 400 °C. Therefore the sample has to be considered as auto-flammable.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The course of the sample temperature shows the beginning of a strong exothermic
reaction at 205 °C. At an ambient temperature of about 220 °C the sample temperature exceeds the
temperature limit of 400 °C. Therefore the sample has to be considered as auto-flammable.
After the test was ended the sample container was weighed. A sample mass loss of 4.4 g could be
ascertained.
The sample has to be considered as auto-flammable according to the assessment criterion and
definition in the Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, test method A.16.
