Results and discussion

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Remarks on result:
no self ignition observed under the test conditions
Remarks:
A minor endothermic event was observed at the beginning of the test at approximately 28°C. After this event the sample tracked the oven temperature until it entered in to a shallow exothermic event at approximately 207°C with a peak temperature of 258°C. The sample followed the oven temperature until a second exothermic event was observed at approximately 304°C with a peak temperature of 321°C. This was followed by a third exotherm at approximately 323°C with a peak temperature of 357°C. A fourth exothermic event was then observed at approximately at 347°C with a peak temperature 363°C. On completion of testing, a black solid residue remained in the basket.
