Thermal stability

Two DSC-measurements in closed glass crucibles with the test item showed an endothermal effect in the temperature range of 75- 110 °C and two exothermal effects in the temperature range of 150 - 220 °C and 360-485 °C with a maximum overall energy release of 495 J/g. Above 485 °C the course of the baseline indicated a pressure rise.

Explosive properties

The heat of decomposition was below 500 J/g. Therefore the main test on explosive properties was not necessary.

A screening test on thermal stability using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) under nitrogen was performed.
