Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The study is not feasible due to the behaviour of the substance in water (very low solubility and formation of colloidal suspensions). During the water solubility test, the Nephelometric Turbidity Unit (NTU) was increased in concentrations at and above 5 mg/l, while the NTU at concentration 1 mg/l and higher remain stable. Even if the NTU remains stable in concentrations ≤ 1 mg/l and the NTU values of the test solutions are closer to the ones of ultra pure water undissolved particles still exist. This could suggest that the water solubility of the substance lies in concentrations lower than 1 mg/l.

The substance is also emusifiable in water rendering the determination of the partition coefficient not feasible.

For this reason, the partition coefficient of the UVCB substance is estimated by considering the predicted LogPow of the UVCB components. It is expected that the LogPow should be higher than 4.5.
