Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the CLP Regulation (EC) n. 1272/2008, section, for organic substances or mixtures the classification procedure for the oxidising solid class shall not apply if:

(a) the substance or mixture does not contain oxygen, fluorine or chlorine; or

(b) the substance or mixture contains oxygen, fluorine or chlorine and these elements are chemically bonded only to carbon or hydrogen.

For inorganic substances or mixtures the classification procedure for this class shall not apply if they do not contain oxygen or halogen atoms.

Based on the screening evaluation the substance failed to evidence any reason of concern and therefore is not classified as Oxidising.
