Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Conclusion on classification

Classification related key information

- Biodegradation: not readily biodegradable: 17 % after 28 days (OECD 301 B)

- Bioaccumulation: logPow 2.5 (EU Method A.8)

Aquatic acute toxicity

- Aquatic invertebrates: EC50 (48h) of > solubility of the test item in test medium (dissolved test item) (Daphnia magna, OECD 202)

- Algae: ErC50 (72 h) > solubility of the test item in test medium (geometric mean measured conc. dissolved fraction)

(Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata, OECD 201)

Since the L(E)C50 of daphnia and algae are above water solubility of the test item in test media, classification for acute/short-term aquatic hazard is not required according to Table 4.1.0(a) of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.

Aquatic chronic toxicity

- Algae: NOEC (72 h) >= solubility of the test item in test medium (geometric mean measured conc. dissolved fraction)

(Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata, OECD 201)

Chronic toxicity data are only available for one trophic level, algae; the respective NOEC is >= water solubility of the test item in test medium for growth rate inhibition. However, the substance is not readily biodegradable but with a logPow of < 4 (i.e., 2.5). In conclusion, classification for chronic/long-term aquatic hazard is not required according to Table 4.1.0(i) of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.

Classification according to CLP

Based on the data above, the substance has not to be classified for acute or chronic toxicity according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, as amended for the tenth time in Regulation (EC) No 2017/776.
