The substance has a low solubility in water, therefore a WAF (water accomodated fraction) approach in line with OECD document No. 23 was selected. Preparations of WAF with 100 mg/L nominal concentration were tested under non-GLP conditions as pre-limit test.
No toxicity was observed in the tests. The number of progenies was slightly higher in comparison to the control (see attachment).
In addition, pre-tests for the validation of an analytical method showed that the substance is not sufficiently soluble in i. a. dichloromethane, i-hexane, ethylacetate, diisopropyl ether. Due to the low solubility in water the substance also cannot be detected by TOC analysis.
