Description of key information

The test item does not contain metals or matalloids and hence no emission of flammable gases when in contact with water is expected.

When testing for flammability, the test item melted. The melt showed local burning and rapid extinction. A propagation of the

combustion was not observed.

The test item was not a readily combustible solid in the sense of UN Manual of Tests and Criteria,

Method N.1.

The test item was not a flammable solid according to chapter 2.71 of the GHS (CLP) regulations.

When tested for pyrophoric properties, no ignition was observed within 5 min after the powdery test item

was poured from approximately 1 m height onto a non-combustible surface. The test was repeated

five times. ln none of six tests an ignition was observed.

Due to these results the test item does not have to be classified as "pyrophoric substance", class

4.2, of the Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods / Manual of Tests and Criteria

and according to chapter 2.101 of the GHS (CLP) regulations.
