GHS criteria not met
Executive summary:

The present study was conducted according to:
EC 2008: The Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 laying down Test Methods
pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the
Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), A.21. “Oxidising
Properties (Liquids)”, Official Journal No L 152, 31/05/2008.

The mean pressure-rise time for the reference mixture (cellulose and 65% nitric
acid) was 1.108 seconds.
The mean pressure-rise time for the test mixture (cellulose and test item) was 13.493 seconds.
As the mean pressure-rise time of the test mixture was significantly more than the reference mixture, it is
concluded that Finester 2009 is “Non-Oxidising in Nature”.
