Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Literature data (CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics 75th Edition)

d (20, w) (density of water at 20 °C) = 0.9982 g/mL

d (4, w) (density of water at 4 °C) = 0.99997 g/mL

d (20, a) (density of air at 20 °C) = 0.0012 g/mL

Validity criteria for the measurement of the density:

Target condition according to guideline:Actual condition according to the study:Validity criteria met:
The test is done at constant temperature, preferably at 20°C.The pycnometer was thermostated at 20 °C in a water bath until the readings of the filling height remained constant.Yes
Duplicate measurements are required. Two measurements are performed.Yes

Conclusions:
The density of Fluocortolon-A-Acetat at 20 ºC was 1.236 g/cm3 and the relative density was 1.236.
Executive summary:

The relative density of Fluocortolon-A-Acetat was determined according to the OECD Guideline 109 (Density of Liquids and Solids) corresponding to A.3., Council Regulations EC No 440/2008. The solid sample was accurately weighed into a 20 mL pycnometer and by displacement of the solvent (n-heptan), its equivalent volume was determined. Finally, the density of Fluorcortolon-A-Acetat was calculated. The relative density at 20 ºC was 1.236 g/cm³ and the relative density was 1.236.
