Description of key information

No methylal half-life value in soil is available but due to its high volatility and Koc value, methylal is expected to volatilize from soil and is not expected to adsorb to soil.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

According to KocWin v2.00 program, a value of 5.545 was calculated for Koc. Therefore, methylal would be very mobile in soil.
