Additional information

Based on the result of one experimental study according to OECD 301B, Reaction products of oleoyl sarcosine with sodium hydroxide can be regarded as readily biodegradable according to the OECD criteria. The substance is thus considered to be rapidly degraded by both aquatic and terrestrial microorganisms. Therefore, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex IX, column 2, 9.2.1.2. - 9.2.1.4., further simulation testing for water and sediment or soil biodegradation testing is not necessary.
