The water solubility of the substance Fatty acids, tall-oil, triesters with trimethylolpropane (CAS 94581-09-6) was determined in accordance with OECD Guideline 105 using flask method and Gel Permeation Chromatography for analysis. The flask method is appropriate for UVCB substances. The solubility of the total soluble fraction is higher than the one of the TMP esters fraction, because the former may contain some more polar components from the pulping process. Older data, employing the column elution method (for two different batches at 20 °C: water solubility < 0.2 mg/L and < 0.4 mg/L, respectively), are supporting.
