Conclusion on classification

The available data from the aquatic toxicity studies for the substance are short-term data : EC50(fish)>100 mg/l, EC50(daphnia)>100 mg/l and  LC50(algae)>100 mg/l. 

Based on the EC50 values>100 mg/L for fish, daphnia and algae, the substance does not match the criteria for classification for short-term aquatic hazard according to Directive 67/548/EEC  and according to CLP Regulation 1272/2008.  

Based on the results of short-term toxicity for fish, daphnia and algae (EC>100 mg/l) together with a log Kow value of -4.45, according to CLP Regulation 1272/2008 Criteria of table 4.1.0.b) iii) the substance is not classified for long-term aquatic hazard.
